The web programming started with Tim Berners-Lee at CERN and the good old HTML. CERN, which is mostly famous because the Large Hadrons Collider has received the biggest exposure by getting the attention of frolicsome rumors following the prospects of a black hole. The start of internet is the results of the search of CERN’s research and it has given something very different to people, this is a whole new world which is now helping in the every field of life and giving people more opportunities than one could have thought. HTML has brought so much changes in our real world and with every passing minutes it is growing and growing, it has make our real world rather small in many ways.

HTML is they very basic language of internet and which is understandable for all the people who work on internet in whatever way. This language can perform on systems which are working with windows, Linux, Mac or on a Unix workstation. But this language has limitations when t comes to its computational abilities and control, and this has been done by its maker deliberately because save the machine of the person using it from getting damaged and harm the programs.

Web programming has become the most successful job in the world because of the increase in the services, programmers are becoming more and more efficient in their work, and clients are now demanding lot of different type of applications. A programmer can provide many services according to the demand of the client and his requirement. Things have changed a lot and now people who are expert of this machine can do a lot more than HTML permits. Because of the development in the field, people are making many new applications which are very helpful for other people. There are now many database websites in which other languages have been used rather than simple HTML and these are JSP, Cold Fusion, ASP.NET, Perl, PHP, and many others. These languages have been divided into two main groups which are open source and proprietary, both groups are equally important in this field.

These languages are being used to create an ideal web programming language which can be done by expending and limiting existing languages. There are many associates with whom these languages can be linked such as shell languages, conventional programming language, mark-up language and scripting language.

There are numbers of languages available, all of them are appropriate for different programs. It is not important that any one of these language will work completely for one program.
