Surfing is a challenging water sport for body and mind; it challenges our body and mind in various ways each time we paddle out. The reality about surfing is that the waves on which we surf are natural and they do not give us time to play and practice. Whenever we try to fight with waves and wind they teach us that we they are more powerful than us. We can learn best with as much as we can spend on the waves. Water temperature, wave chops, tide, swell directions, flat spells, seasons and the moving play field of water teach us the best surfing. We can learn best skills and abilities naturally.
Basically the base of our training in surfing is surfing itself. One should use different spots and water to paddle out, practice skills on different boards, and the most important thing is to try to learn the modes and behaviors of oceans and beaches where ever one surf.
Movements in water, learning on appropriate land, and exercises can make bodies to do extremely well in performance. It can also lessen the chance of injury, enhance our patience and increase the steadiness in surfing acts. Many people do very harsh acts and think that they are using their skills properly and they are best performers but in fact their harsh acts make them loss their lives, not just their lives but many others who try to save them from cruel waves of water. It is important to repeat every exercise and act in your training so that you will get a hold on time and know which act should be continue for how long. The trainers or coaches set specific time of training and work out for each and every individual. Excessive training can affect the performance of a person.

There are many schools to help you in learning this sport; some of them give training on land and some on water. There are also those too who prefer both types of trainings.
